Barnes Corners, just west of Lowville, is Inman Gulf, a breathtaking 300-foot deep gorge. The trail
follows the forested rim with spectacular views at overlooks. All trail segments are easy, but the 2.5
mile segment on the west has the best views, benches and interesting rock steps. To the south is an
additional 12 miles of cross-country ski trails suitable for hiking.
