This is rather unusual track, as I made decisions on the spot. I started from the mountain shelter Schronisko na Hali Kondratowej and headed to Przełęcz pod Kopą. Next, I went to Kopa Kondracka where I decided to go to Giewont, because of the low cloud ceiling. I get to Giewont through Przełęcz Kondracka. Until last 20 meter it's rather easy trail in winter conditions. The last 20 meters are equipped with security chains on which you can hang on if you feel unsafe. In fact it's not technically demanding, but lots of tourists visit this peak and the passage is very narrow. From Giewont I have returned to Przełęcz Kondracka where I realized that I still have planty of sunlight (2.5h till the sunset). Instead of returning directly from there to the shelter, I returned to Kopa Kondracka, and next to Małołączniak and Krzesielnica. Krzesielnica is not very impressive peak, but it's the highest in West Tatra Mountains. From Krzesielnica I went back to Kopa and Przełęcz Kondracka, and next to the shelter.
The trail is quite easy. Depending on the weather it's advised to have crampons and an ice axe, but if snow is fresh and soft you might need snowshoes. Be careful to do not get lost in low visibility conditions and when the path is not well established by previous hikers.
