Grant Flatwoods Sanctuary - Red Trail

The Grant Flatwoods Sanctuary is made up of 2,260 acres, mostly just scrub pines and palmettos. This was the only marked trail the day I went (1-2-11). It is only recorded as a 1.83 miles. You must be careful as whoever marked the trail left some spots questionable. Just to record this trail I missed several turns and had to double back. It gets pretty close to houses in a few spots, so that scenery can be ignored. My understanding is that horses and biking are allowed in this sanctuary.
