At 22 km north of Chertsey or 2.5 km south of Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci, is the entrance of the Massif sector. This is the access to the west side of this vast territory of 160 square kilometers. Walking through the various trails in this area, totaling 54 km, passing through several ecosystems, including a forest of lime trees, a large jack pine, several lakes and a few peaks. We will see boulders, huge rocks covered with ferns and even forest for the largest, which dates from the glacial era. With a length of 20 km and its altitude of 235 meters, the path of the Massif offers a view of Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci and Mont Tremblant. The journey for beginner or intermediate allows short and longer hikes. Trails are also accessible by mountain bike. In hot weather, several bodies of water are suitable for bathing. In winter you can enjoy 35 km of snowshoe trails and 45 km of trails for cross country skiing and Nordic skiing. The 3 shelters are available for longer excursions.
