We started our walk from a huge parking place situated between apartment buildings and made our way to the old city of Cullera, which is certainly worth visiting. Characteristic small alleys and lots of stairs wind themselves through the old part situated right below the the the Santuario de la Virgen del Castillo.
Coming upon a signposted junction we took the direction of the Ruta des Torres which will take you alongside all the towers, at least what's left of them, along a not always easy track but with rewarding views on the city below you.
From the castle a signposted yellow/white marked track will take you up to the ruins of the old Fortress and from there quite a few times up and down towads the Meteorological Station and eventually to the Urbanizacion Cap Blanc.
We did this walk under cloudy and misty circumstances but even so the the views were spectacular.
From the Calle de la Sierra Mariola we took a hardly noticeable track towards the Calle del Barranco Fondo down below us which might seem impossible but is actually quite easy.
Arriving at the pier of Punta Negra we followed the boulevard back to the parking place.
We can really recommend this fantastic walk!
