Charles Bronson State Forest - Road 1/2 & Side Road

This hike will take you from the parking area on Phillips Road up Road 1 and then out to a pasture. From there you will connect with Road 2 and down to the St Johns River. You will than loop south to pickup a road near a manmade canal. Following the road you will eventually hit the Road 1 loop again and them back to the parking area. You will pass through many different ecosystems. It might get wet down by the river, so substitution might be necessary. It was very dry the day we made the hike around. This is a WMA, so be aware that hunting is going on quite often in this state forest, so wear bright clothes or just stay away during hunting dates. Please take nothing but photos (and trash if you spot it) and leave nothing but footprints!
