The route begins at the center of the town of Bushmills, from which the train track that goes to the visitors center of the Giant's Causeway is followed. At half a golf course, stop following the train track to turn left and go to the village of Portballintrae. At the entrance to the village there are the prehistoric remains of Lissanduff Earthworks, two sets of concentric earth mounds.

The route follows parallel to the A2 road until you reach Dunluce Castle (https://discovernorthernireland.com/Dunluce-Castle-Medieval-Irish-Castle-on-the-Antrim-Coast-Bushmills-P2819). If you want to enter, you must pay an entry of £ 5.50.

The route continues along the road bordering the cliffs. Then leave the road and get off at White Rocks beach. The route ends at the village of Portrush, which is reached by the beach.
