Waterfall

Canyon de la rivière Saint-Charles (Wendake)

This path is part of the Linear Park of the San Carlos River (Parc Linéaire de la rivière Saint-Charles). From this point, begins the most spectacular part of the canyon with its rapids. Prepare to go up and down many flights of stairs. In winter, it can be a bit dangerous. It can be done back and forth quietly. If there is no snow or ice, it is a very pleasant walk. You can also practice Vertical Running for the sections of stairs you have.

Passerelle sur le canyon de la rivière Saint-Charles

Here is a walkway over the river. The roar of the water impresses, above all, during the thawing season. From here, the trail changes its slope and we continue upstream.

Waterfall

Chute Kabir Kouba (Wendake)

We arrived at the most famous part of the canyon: the Kabir Kouba Waterfall. We are in wandat-ferret territory. This is Wendake, near Quebec City. The ideal time to see the waterfall is in spring, when the thaw, or in autumn when the heavy rainfall arrives. In winter, snow and ice gives it an air of magic. There is a viewpoint that descends almost to the bottom. The name Kabir Kouba would mean something like Rio de las Mil Revueltas. Actually, the number of meanders is incalculable. Attest!
