This walk starts from the Torreon (The watch Tower, in La Cala, Mijas)
On Calle Torreon
Details: From the watch tower we head towards Avenida El Limonan,
Going under the N340 flyover, with Mercadona on your right. About 800m
Up ahead take the Camino Sorroche path on your left. The 15 minute
Climb to the top of the hill is steepish until we arrive at the famous pine tree El Pino Piñero.
Going downhill has loose stones. A steepish decline
Carry on past some dwellings and cross over the road onto Camino los
Morena. Take a sharp right turn over the streambed Arroyo de la
Reyalengua. This area has Australian eucalyptus trees.
Keep walking along this path until you get to the main road, then turn left back
into La Cala.

jojonana1111, Esta mañana como lloviznía buscamos una ruta corta para estirar las piernas. Decidí hacer tu ruta. Para hacerla más corta, fuimos hasta el parkin número 2. Nos ha gustado la rutita. Si que hay que tener cuidado en la bajada del Pino Piñero. Para una del grupo que no querría subir la cuesta hemos rodeado la colina. Para termina fuimos a la Venta Sorroche en la Cala de Mijas, del mismo nombre de la ruta. Resulta que los abuelo del dueño fueron dueños del terreno por donde transcurre la ruta. Él nació allí. Así, un día completo, aunque un poco lluvioso. En la Venta Sorroche se come muy bien, comida casera. Gracias por colgar la ruta. murraydublin.

jojonana1111, ¡Otra cosa! Mirando a los diferente mapas en Wikiloc, veo que hay una ruta algo más larga hacia el oeste, partiendo de donde está el Pino Piñero, y volviendo al mismo parking. Estoy pensando explorar esta ruta. ¿Sabes algo de ella? murraydublin

No lo se, pero hay una ruta del Ayuntamiento en La Cala que voy a poner muy pronto en Wikiloc, si no me pierdo
