From the Bothan Aonghais cottage to Rubha Hanish and back, with stops at the museum of Island of Skye Life, Flora MacDonald’s monument and grave and Duntulm Castle.
The route follows the main road until reaching Duntulm Castle. The it follows the side of the hill down to the nearby landing, following the shoreline. When the climb starts, cross through the field and aim for the top of the cliff to the left of the creek.
We took the walk in the winter and did not have time or conditions to make it down to Hunish (the northernmost point on Skye).
If you wish to go down to Hunish, follow the steep climb down from the middle of the creek.
If the conditions are wet, we recommend not going back in the creek, as it will be very wet.
