near Blackwater Bridge, Munster (Ireland)
This stage of the Kerry Way was fairly easy going. The trail rises up over bog land the first 2km and there are great views of Kenmare Bay. It was clear when we completed this and you could make out the Skelligs in the distance. The rest of the way to Tahilla consisted of back roads and nice trails through the countryside. Very scenic and enjoyable route. We turned around at Tahilla and returned to Blackwater Bridge. That's why the distance is twice as much. From Blackwater Bridge to Tahilla it was just under 7km.
