This hike took place in Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park. The start of the hike started at Bear Lake pkg lot, and proceeded to the official trail head at Glacier George. On this trail, there were lot of waterfalls, lakes, and streams. The trail is pretty much easy except when you come the last 1.3 miles. The last 1.3 miles ( 2.1 km ), the trails becomes difficult with spree and still of 1,000 ft ( 304 m ) of climbing still to go.

I have followed this trail  View more

Did this trail on 6/20 beautiful waterfalls and lakes on way up. Approaching sky pond trail is completely snow packed. Turn right at trail intersection for sky pond and head upwards toward Andrew Glacier. Be very careful around snow covered boulders as you can fall through snow pack. Gaiters came in handy. Proceed toward campground and veer left following snow packed trail and creek where it gets steep.
    Great views of gorge
