Most of the time I don't like hiking on graded trails; however, this is definitely worth a walk. Once off the border track, the Albert River Valley is stunning with multiple creek crossing and numerous water falls. Echo Point offers great views of Mt Warning and a perfect place for lunch. Remember to KooWee to the west at Echo point, it will live up to its name. The camp ground at Echo Point is average being 300m from the lookout and about 1km hike to water, further in dry season. Bithongabell is a nicer camp and closer to water. You can combine the Toolona Creek Circuit with the Albert River to make a great 2 day hike.
