Stage 174

Tour of the Appalachian Trail, passing through the state of Maine (United States), from south to north, from the Poplar Ridge Lean-to refuge, located a short distance from the top of the Poplar Ridge, to the intersection of the trail with the Caribou Valley Road.

The stage corresponds to section 6.2, according to the distribution of sections of the Appalachian Trail in official guides and maps, in Maine.

It was at this stage that the American Sender Geraldine Largay, who was found dead two years later, was lost in 2013:
