Tour of the Appalachian Trail ( Appalachian Trail ), passing through the state of New Hampshire (United States), from south to north, from the intersection of the trail with US-3 I-93, in Franconia Notch, to the Greenleaf Hut, inside the White Mountain National Forest.

Throughout this stage, the Appalachian Trail follows the same trail as three minor trails: Liberty Springs Trail, Franconia Ridge Trail and Greenleaf, and reaches the tops of Mt. Liberty (4,459 feet), Little Haystack (5,089 feet), Mt Lincoln (5,089 feet) and Mt. Lafayette (5,260 feet).

The route of the AT does not pass through the Greenleaf Hut, hostel of the Appalachian Mountain Club located at the foot of Mt Lafayette (1.7 km. From its summit, approximately), but for logistical needs we have chosen to add said section to the stage of this day.
