We left the car at the Tusayan heliport, located very close to Gran Canyon, on the road that goes to Williams, and after a time of waiting, we managed to take the helicopter that will take us along the Grand Canyon, through a spectacular route , spotting from the air, one of the most spectacular canyons in the world.

We were lucky enough to sit in the front seats of the helicopter, next to the pilot and with panoramic windows that allowed us to have complete views of the Grand Canyon.

We take off and go, slowly, towards Gran Canyon, through the southern plateau and reaching South Rim. Impressive how we got into the canyon, with the contrast between the plateau and the canyon itself and with the background music rising in intensity as we got closer.

With a guide in Spanish, we were enjoying the beautiful views that are offered from the air, witnessing Colorado River. From Grand Canyon, on foot, it is very difficult to see the river if you do not descend many meters towards it. However, by helicopter, we could see it in all its expression. A big river, full of curves and quite dirty, a shame, the geography of the place full of earth anything.

We go through the canyon to the east and head north to witness North Rim, the other shore where we can visit the Gran Canyon, less visited than the south bank.

We continue flying over Gran Canyon, returning to enter it with a second musical high, something really spectacular and we returned to the heliport of Tusayan by the west of the canyon.

A route of just under an hour and that allows to witness the Grand Canyon in a spectacular way. The best option to see Colorado River and a sight for the eyes and for the senses!

Saludos!
