Northwest Trail to Eastern Black River - Part of Marystown - Trail System

Leave pavement of north of Marystown to find Northwest Trail which connects to Garnish Pond Trail which connects to Eastern Black River trail. The trail travels Dix's Head Road, once a woods road, then skirts Garnish Pond and Black River travelling on to Eastern Black River. Lots of rocks in places, lots of potholes but perfectly navigable at a sensible speed. You can access the Trail from Marystown at Garnish Pond Road behind the old swimming pool.
