Greetings,

I'm a frequent user of this website, congratulations for the job well done ;)

I have a suggestion to make:

> implementing an option to make trails "hide" in searchs. For example, there are certain trails I have in Wikiloc and to prevent them to always appear on my searchs, having a option to place them on a "ignore list" would be great to filter better the trail search.

What do you think?

Best regards and keep up the nice work!
Joao

Hi,
the trails can be public or private.
Clic on "Your trails" at the header, then on the edit link on a trail. There is one field with privacy where you can make the trail public or private.
Cheers.

Hi jeprubio,

Thanks for your answer ;)

But I think I didn't explained myself well

I was refering to "hide" trails that appear on the search querys, but, trails created by others.
For instance, I might have made a trail created by other person and in the future, it would be great to make that trail not showing anymore on my search, like having a "DONE" option ;)

Best to all,
Joao

Thanks for clarifying the point. We don't have plans at the moment to add this feature but we have added your request to the list of improvements. Perhaps, as a workaround, you could add the trails of your interest to your list of favorites and once done, just remove them from the list?

Hi jeprubio!

Yes, it's a possibility but that will not fix the situation of still showing them in the Mapa Mundi search.

For example,

Let's image a user searches for trails in a certain area. He already made some of them in that existing area but wants to search for the ones he didn't discovered.

The ones that he already "made/discovered" will continue to show on the Mapa Mundi.

That will result in a way that when the user is searching for trails, he found results, the user visits the details of each one of them and thinks:

"ok, I already made this one... This one isn't interesting... This one is dangerous for me" and in the end, in a search result of 10, only 2 are results that he is interested.

With the option of "ignore", the user can "select" the trails to not show in the next search he makes in that region again.

Best to all and have fun!
Joao

_Oak_ proposal looks interesting to me. When searching through an area, I often run multiple times in tracks I've already seen and analyzed as not to be retained (e.g. no comments, no picture, bad track quality resulting in delirious "numbers", trail better described by others, too hard, too easy, ... whatever other reason). It's sometimes painful to be sure of not missing a track and not running in the same not interesting one more that once.

I understand the workaround suggested and already using it, but it unfortunately does not solve the issue...
