Hello,
When clicking on 'Search' -> 'Users', we are getting a list of WikiLoc users. Apparently the sorting has recently changed... What are the criteria used? Reputation perhaps? I don't remember seeing the 'reputation' field before. What determines our reputation score?
Thanks, Luc

Hi LucT,
We've put the number just to test but it shouldn't appear yet on the listings since it is a work in progress. We're still defining the reputation/user rank formulae and it might change significantly during the next few weeks. The previous user rank was determined solely by the number of trails shared. The new ranking will consider not just the number of trails but how complete and described they are (photos, description..) if the author has a picture and some words about him/her on their public profile, number of followers, joining date et.c. We hope that new ranking will be much more fair than the previous one.
I profit by the occasion to mention that there'll be another ranking measure just for trails. We'll put detailed information on how both numbers are calculated and which factors can improve them.
Cheers, Jordi

maybe you could also include links to external websites to calculate the reputation. Thanks Goterris

It's definitely a parameter intended to add to the information of a trail but since we don't know about the target page, it'll be easy for someone to increase the trailrank just by adding a link to a generic page that's unrelated to the trail. We'll take it into consideration though, perhaps adding rank only if the user rank is above some value / reputation. Thanks for your feedback!
